AT&T to Increase DirecTV Now Pricing By $10/Month, Introduce New Packages

AT&T will announce a $10/month price increase to DirecTV Now next week and introduce two new packages that will replace the existing ones, reports CordCutters.

The new packages will be called DIRECTV NOW Plus with 40+ channels for $50 a month and DIRECTV NOW MAX with 50+ channels for $70 a month. Current subscribers will be notified of this change starting next week the same day new customers will have to pay this new price. DIRECTV NOW will also be adding HBO to the Plus and MAX packages as a standard channel. This comes from sources with knowledge of AT&T plans to update their prices.

If you stay subscribed to your old plan you will be able to keep it at a $10/month price bump. If you leave the service you may not be able to get your old package pack.
