Before I go banging my head against the wall, I'd like to outline my research and hopefully get some suggestions and/or confirmations on this route.
Okay so... the plan.
- here are specs (google drive doc)
i7-4610m Haswell
incl. dual graphics intel hd4000 and radeon hd 8600m on 1366x768<-- would like to disable radeon, only use intel
- majorly following Jake Lo's osxlatitude.com clover guide: https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/8506-dell-latitude-inspiron-precision-vostro-xps-clover-guide/?tab=comments#comment-74275
Progress:
- reset bios, set ahci, EFI
- pulled ram stick slot B
- inserted via lone left usb port
- created HS clover boot installer EFI
- booted verbose --> won't boot to installer (states cpu unknown, waiting for iGPU[0]... iGPU[1]... iGPU[2]... etc)
Suspected next move:
