Migrating from PC to Mac. I love the operating system, but don't love the non upgradable hardware.
I believe i'd have the mental capabilities of creating a Hackintosh (with Reddits assistance), but I am worried about the amount of time this process will take. I already have other projects going on & what if I hit a brick wall and just get tired of tinkering with it? Do I have to process every update myself too? On the other hand keeping my existing PC hardware is obviously enticing to my wallet.
I can upgrade the quad core 2018 Mac mini's RAM at home if needed and use the internal ssd as boot drive and external for everything else. Sometimes time is more valuable than money.
