[Issue] DVI 90º Display + Sapphire Radeon RX 580 4GB

Recently I’ve installed the GPU and seems like it works well. I mean, I did nothing for it to work, but I don’t know whether it works on its full potential or not. I tried video render in Adobe Media Encoder and it was (just) twice faster than the very same render made on my i7-4770 @ 3.4 GHz. Honestly, I’m not aware whether that’s something or not: the card isn’t the high end (is it?), but subjectively the system works smoother (not that it was any laggy before).

At my main’s rig I have three displays, but at this point I have just two: primary and secondary ones. The Primary is connected via DP, The Secondary is connected via DVI and is rotated by 90º.

I’ve faced one issue with it: when the DVI-display is connected, the system shows the display the wrong way, it’s cropped and still rotated the wrong way. I’ve found the workaround: to plug the DVI port off the GPU and plug it back again, then it works properly. I cannot turn the display at it’s normal 0º rotation (as neither I have enough space for it nor it would useful for me). It would be annoying to turn it on and off, but since usually I turn my PC on and off just once a day, that may be a so-so compromise solution for a time.

I’ve tried to work with the iGPU (Intel HD 4600), and it doesn’t work when I start the system this way, but it works well when I switch the DVI port while in macOS. Working this way I’ve found a weird bug in Chrome, when everything is pixelated.

I’ve tried to turn InjectATI on and off in Clover, and seems like that makes no difference.

So, in short: my second display works well only when I plug it in in macOS, but it doesn’t when it’s plugged when the system starts. Simply turning the display on/off doesn’t change its behaviour.

I’m looking for the solution, maybe someone faced the same thing.
