So I have a Gigabyte Z68MA-D2H-B3 UEFI with i5 2500K, 8GB, HD 3000, running Yosemite 10.10.5 on a partition on a 1TB HDD with a Chimera bootldr. All good for 4-5 years now. Got a good deal on a Samsung SSD so decided to upgrade to Sierra 10.12.6 (can't go higher without a graphics card and is next upgrade). Sierra is up and running. Intend to keep the Yosemite and Mavericks partitions on the HDD, so I decided to check booting via Clover on the SSD. Boots fine, but no audio on the TV's internal speakers when booted to the old Yosemite installation via Clover. Have to slap on my USB headset to hear my porn but I want my simulated surround sound on the TV dammit. Anyone have any pointers where to start trying to fix this? Not a big deal since I don't expect to use Yosemite except for a week or two transition but would be nice to know why it's gone silent.
