I finally got my hackintosh-to-be to boot the installer, but unfortunately it's not displaying correctly. The screen has a small square in the middle that displays at full resolution, but only within that little screen, and at the same time it's not large enough to show the entire installer interface.
You can't see the words too easily but that's basically the Apple icon menu showing the "restart" and "shutdown" commands.
My hardware:
- MSI Z170A M7 Gaming Board
- Intel Core i7-6700 Skylake
- MSI Radeon Vega 56 (connected via DisplayPort)
