Is these miraculous nvidia optimus-compatibile drivers even real?

Hi!

After 2 year break from hackintosh I am trying to install macOS on my Lenovo Legion Y520 laptop (i7, 16gb ram, gtx1060 max-q in optimus) because I read that some kind of old beta nvidia drivers enable in some extend nvidia optimus feature. I am talking about for example this old reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/hackintosh/comments/677own/hackintosh_on_optimus_laptop_with_new_pascal/ . The post is from 2 years ago so I thought it will be better to write new post.

Can anyone tell me if this even real? I mean I read a lot of post saying that optimus is definitely not possible but few people like u/fma965 in thread linked above (he is no longer active on reddit) in his comment said that he is able to use dGPU. Not like optimus way (automatically switching between iGPU and dGPU) but only one of GPU. It would be great if it possible to do this, even on some old beta nvidia drivers and old macOS version (like even el capitan).
