Two weeks ago I installed macOS on my Dell laptop. I then made my smbios with a tool. Not with Clover Configurator because it sucks. I checked if the serial number was not in use and it was not in use. Yesterday I made a usb with High Sierra downloaded from the appstore. I installed that on my 500GB ssd. Updated late from High Sierra to Mojave yesterday evening. Today I checked my serial number again. And now it says it's registered. But with no valid purchase date. I don't care because I just called apple and they only use that for guarantee. Then they can calculate whether you still have a guarantee. Well since I don't have a macbook, it doesn't help. Well I have full apple support they said ..
Oh I also installed High Sierra with internet during installation. Also with Mojave. Macbook is from 2014. So no new has been produced, so this is definitely my Dell.
