Apple has started selling a new 23.7-inch LG UltraFine display while apparently discontinuing sale of the previous 21.5-inch LG UltraFine 4K Display and 27-inch LG UltraFine 5K Display, reports TidBITS.Strangely the new monitor is not listed on Apple's online store or LG's website. A Google search for its model number, 24MD4KL, also reveals little information.
The new 23.7-inch monitor was spotted at Apple's Uptown Minneapolis retail store for the same price as the 21.5-inch. It features the same minimalist black styling as the other two monitors with a resolution of 3840x2160. Notably, that's just under Retina display status at 200.26 ppi. That compares to 218.58 for the 21.5-inch LG model and 218 ppi for the iMac.
