Hey all. I’ve got a vanilla Sierra VM installed on a r710 running esxi 6.7. I just picked up a cheap rx 460 and I wanted to pass it through to get a better UI experience. I’ve got the card installed, and I can see it listed in graphics/displays, but I can’t make it the primary or secondary display. Do I need to install clover to get this working, or just the AMD-related kexts I’ve seen mentioned. I didn’t think I would need Clover since I can configure the VM to be more ‘Mac-like’
I’ve also heard downgrading the VM hw-version might help. Or maybe an earlier version of esxi? TIA
