[Help] MacOS install as a KVM guest... without a mouse

So, I have a somewhat strange scenario. I've been trying to set up macOS as a KVM guest on a Debian host using this as a guide with some changes (e.g., installing in on a LV instead of a qcow2 image, certain CPU features not available, etc.). Despite the changes, everything's working except one thing: mouse input. This is especially hampering when getting to the part of selecting the disk to install macOS to. Googling around, I haven't really found any solid answers on how to do the install without mouse input (I'm still trying to figure out why the guest isn't taking the input, but that's more of a Linux discussion I think) so if anyone has any advice, it'd be appreciated!

As an FYI, I'm doing the install on the Debian bare-metal host server over VNC using virt-manager if that makes any difference.
