Looking for guidance, wanting to Hackintosh a laptop for programming.

I'm new to the Apple world, let alone Hackintosh, so I really could use some help. Thank you to anyone willing to provide it in advance!

I've recently made the decision to attempt to Hackintosh my laptop, but have no idea if it's compatible, how to check that, or if it's a good idea to begin with!

I have a Dell Latitude E6540

How would this perform, if I did attempt to Hackintosh it?

Would it be easy to hackintosh to begin with?
