Reliable 500$ build With expandability?

Does anyone have a build that’s around 500$ that has expandability and reliability (it’ll “just work”) in mind? Like support for at least 64GB or ram and a upgrade path for unlocked CPUs from 8th Gen i5 to 9th i7?
