I had studied and was all setup to use /u/corpnewts vanilla guide but at the last minute I found Glasgood’s guide with the exact same components as I did and he was apparently golden so I added some kexts that he had and used a modification of his config.plist.
Right now my Hackintosh works (pending my Broadcom wifi card, and sleep - wakes up to a black screen) but I wonder if the guru’s here could critique my config.plist and let me know what you think. In particular, the whether the additional entries under <key>/Fixes<key> is necessary. As /u/dracoflar pointed out in another post today, it is odd that my guide asked for slide=0 in my boot section, which is a rarely used Darwin kernel parameter. Also, there is some reference to Fixdarwin in my ACPI fixes, which I don’t see in the vanilla guide either.
Advice is greatly appreciated.
