I'm trying to do a fresh install of macOS on a new SSD for a rig that has an i5-4670K, an Asus Z87-A, and a Nvidia 1070 Founders which is only compatible up to High Sierra according to the FAQ. I also have a 2018 Macbook Pro running Mojave. As many of you know, Macbooks running Mojave do not let you download old versions of MacOS from the app store. I was hoping a friend with an older version could help me find a copy to install, but they couldn't find a way to download, either. Are they making a mistake? What are people doing to get clean installs these days?
