I'm having trouble getting sound enabled on my setup. I can boot into my system but it doesn't have my sound card's devices, basically textbook failure of kext to load. I've looked some at the documentation but I'm still confused about what Catalina's read-only system partition means.
Specifically, do I need to adjust my SIP settings to get kexts to load on OpenCore? If so, what settings? If not, what could be the problem? Sorry to be vague, but I'm trying to get oriented to OpenCore and Catalina. Previously, I'd just install kexts in S/L/E and run SIP on 0x03.
