Looking to update my main machine to Ryzen soon, so I thought I'd give Hackintosh another shot on some older components I had. Added a supported wifi card with a Fenvi Mini PCIe to PCIe X1 adapter, worked like a champ.The GTX 650 is the only natively supported card I have at the moment, so again no problems there.
If I stick with it, I'll throw my 4790K and a slightly beefier GPU in down the line (used 470 prices are starting to come down a bit on the used market lately). Only really use it for a little light gaming, web browsing and some hobby audio work that my MBP Non-Retina just wasn't cutting it for anymore.
Only been a few days, but I'm pretty happy so far. Haven't tried to mess around to see if I could get proper sleep/hibernate to work. Also can't comment on whether Messages or Airdrop works. Aside from that, every has been super smooth so far.
