Just completed my first Hackintosh build using OpenCore 0.5.7 and MacOS Mojave 10.14.6; with nearly everything working, except iMessage services. (Which I'll have a crack at later) My Hackintosh's specifications: CPU: Ryzen 7 2700X @ 3.7 GHz MB: Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming GPU: Gigabyte Radeon RX 590 Gaming 8G (rev 2.0) RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 16GB DDR4 @ 3200 MHz SSD1: Samsung Evo Plus 970 250 GB NVMe (Windows 10 LTSC 2019 Installation) SSD2: Kingston A400 120 GB (MacOS Mojave 10.14.6 Installation) SSD3: Sandisk Plus 1 TB SSD4: Kingston A400 120GB GB LAN: Intel I211-AT Gigabit Ethernet Controller MacOS Mojave runs perfectly on my AMD build and so far I've had zero issues with accessing the internet, downloading apps from the App Store, and general use. The only thing that isn't working at the moment is iServices, specifically iMessage, but I plan on resolving that later. I also have two small inquiries if anyone could shed some light on: (1) MacOS Mojave is reporting my Ryzen 7 2700X as an Intel Core i5 for some reason, how would I go about changing that to the correct display? (2) Can I install Mojave on a RAID 0 configuration in order to utilize my second Kingston A400? If anyone is having trouble with their Hackintosh build and has specifications similar to mine, I'd be glad to help out ! (: [link] [comments] |
