Hi. I am having problem with booting Catalina 10.15.6 on my HP pavilion 15 dk0047tx. I used the online method with the latest debug version of opencore. I kept my laptop on for installing overnight but when I woke up the next day, I found that my installer is stuck at apple logo saying about 12 minutes remaining. So I spent a day debugging and found out that OpenUsbKbDxe.efi was causing it. It proceeded to the installer screen in screenshot below but its no better as the installer is stuck here no matter how long I wait. I confirmed that it's a hang after 5 minutes the mouse light goes off, the lightning symbol at the top right doesn't change even on turning the charger on/off. I am sorry but I wanna tell you that I use an unsupported SSD, Samsung PM981. But I don't see why that causes problem even with booting it. I am already using the NVMeFix.kext and infact I have seen people booting on this ssd. By the way I am triple booting alongside windows 10 and linux mint but that should not be a problem. I've partitioned and formatted the drive as APFS. I removed all kexts I do not need until I can boot. It cleaned the debug screen logs by alot but still the process is stuck. I used both precompiled and manual compiled ACPI's but that's not a problem either. I know and I realize that the issue is caused because of the unsupported SSD. But if there's a chance that things went wrong because of something else, please help me through it. some other info that maybe relevant : I couldn't reach installer with RebuildAppleMemoryMap = true. So I set it to false and it worked out. My BIOS don't have the CFG lock option so I enabled AppleCpuPmCfgLock and AppleCpuPmCfgLock.
