I’ve been hackintoshing since 2007 by Chameleon then Clover and now Opencore. I must say that Opencore made me undesrstand what step/patch/kext/quirk/setting is for. I have 90-95% problems/ troubles solved by myself only by reading the Opencore guide. I’ve been hackintoshed many machines so far. But today is my first AMD rig and I can say it is my easiest/ most satisfied hackintosh.
Opencore version : 0.7.0
MacOS: Bigsur 11.4
Mobo: MSI B350M Mortar, latest BIOS.
CPU: Ryzen 1700x
RAM: Geil 4x8GB @2400
Samsung PM961 NVME
Sapphire RX 580
SMBIOS: MacPro7,1
Wifi : Dell Dw1560 aka Brcm94352z
Audio: Realtek 892
I followed the Opencore Guide and this amazing git https://github.com/mikigal/ryzen-hackintosh . It saved me 80% the time. I only have to map the USB, the NVME external icon thing, I could even put my phone number in the UUID and still have iMessage works flawlessly.
I dual boot my machine with Windows 10 for gaming :))
I am also have my first Astra Zenecca shot :))
Happy Hackintoshing to all :)
