I have a stable Ryzen 7 / AsRock / RX 580 based system running since Catalina without any issues, updating my EFi as I go to update the OS.
I've had open core updated to the latest 0.7.2 version, which should be fully compatible with 11.5.1, however after downloading and restarting into the 'Macintosh HD' update volume, it ends up getting to a kernel panic shown here:
Upon rebooting into the main MacOS NVME SSD, it brings up the apple logo with the updating progress bar, and has a timer of about 9 minutes as if its updating, and then starts up MacOS Still on 11.2.3 without any changes to the OS. I've tried a few times with no luck.
Any insight?
