Laptop seems to bootloop attempting hibernation?

I own a Dell XPS 9350 that's been running 12.0 Monterey for quite some time, and have only just now experienced this issue... twice.

Every night before bed I'd close my laptop lid, expecting it to sleep/hibernate (hibernation via hibernationfixup.kext) like it usually did, but I instead hear the boot chime coming from the laptop with the lid closed after I wake up in the morning, and the laptop's running warm. I open it to find that it's stuck on a black screen which is fixed upon a simple restart. It didn't seem to have been doing this all night as the battery is still at 100%.

What's the cause of this issue? I'll provide extras if needed. OC 0.7.5 with updated kexts.
