I'm trying to install Monterey using Opencore on my Mac Pro 5,1. It originally came with High Sierra and I fiddled around with it to install Catalina using dosdude1. I swapped out the default gpu to rx580 as required.
I followed Opencore tutorials and created a USB installer. However, when I try to boot and hold Option key nothing loads. I don't hear the chime either.
If I let the computer load normally it allows me to choose between booting from my Mac OS harddrive, recovery, EFI and the install OS Monterey USB. Only current harddrive and recovery mode works.
Do I need to swap back to my original High Sierra harddrive and try installing? Do I need to swap back to the Apple graphics card as well?
