Does recent UEFI vulnerability affect Hackintosh?

Saw this article on ArsTechnica, "Just about every Windows and Linux device vulnerable to new LogoFAIL firmware attack," which describes a UEFI vulnerability. It sounded to me like it would just as likely also affect Hackintoshes, since they also use the same UEFIs as Windows & Linux machines. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
