MacBook Pro, Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015
Been running OCLP with Ventura for awhile with no problems.
Attempted upgrade to Sonoma; not successful (unknown why).
Entirely wiped MBP and freshly installed OCLP + Ventura. Restored accounts/files from Time Machine backups.
iCloud Drive now throws errors. If I attempt to read data (open a file):
"Couldn't communicate with a helper application."
If I attempt to write data:
"The Finder can't complete the operation because some data in <empty quotes> can't be read or written. (Error code -36)"
iCloud data is intact; fully accessible from alternate devices.
Actions attempted numerous times each and not helped:
- iCloud Drive disable -> reboot -> iCloud Drive enable
- dot_clean
- swearing and drinking
