Boot loop on MacBookPro11,5 with Sonoma. Possible disk corruption (?)

My old MacBook battery has been giving me problems and I believe the battery iss now fried. The MacBook was ungracefully getting powered off as I removed the power while moving from school and home. I don't think the HFS journaling worked in my case.

Now.. I have a serious issue. The MacBook starts with Apple Logo, goes to ~ 30% progress and then reboots in a loop. At this stage, I would like to recover the SSD contents. I go to internet recovery with Cmd+R but I am not able to mount the disk at all either from Terminal or Disk Utility.

diskutil verifyVolume /dev/disk1s2 gives me Unrecognized file system (-69846) error.

Unfortunately the MacBook does not use any std connector for SSD for me to try externally mounting into Linux.

Is the disk now corrupted beyond any repair? Interestingly, I created another installer on USB drive like I always did and that also is stuck in reboot loop. I would have expected the USB boot to at least take me to the screen to install/update MacOS.

Is it possible that the internet recovery does not support the filesystem used by later versions? I don't know if the disk is encrypted at rest.

Are there any disk recovery tools that I could try? Any help is sincerely appreciated.
