Can I even run a Hackintosh?
So, I’ve been trying to hackintosh my computer for quite a while. I never got it to work even though I thoroughly followed the OpenCore guide multiple times. Furthest I got was getting OpenCore’s loader to boot and get an error message. I then tried premade images (OL) but they never showed me anything more than a blank screen with a white line on it. I’ve tried multiple times to get it working and researched the compatibility charts for each version but still nothing. UEFI and legacy modes for the bios were both tested. Is my hardware compatible for any form of hackintosh and if not, what parts should I change? I need macOS for some creative applications.
- I7 2600
- Asus P8Z68-V
- GTX 970
- 24GB DDR3 1333
- SATA SSD and HDD
- 128GB USB stick
EDIT: I’ve tried every macOS version from Big Sur to Sonoma. Furthest I got was on Big Sur with the error message.
