Keyboard and trackpad not working

Hello everyone, recently I upgraded my MacBook 2009 from BigSur to Sonoma, all went well until it booted up and I couldn’t use with the trackpad nor the keyboard. Logically I went ahead and grabbed a wired keyboard and mouse, did not worked out either. I can boot in safe mode, it does the same thing. I do get a message from open core to install the patches but I can’t click on it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
