Maybe you can help iMac 14,3 3rd party NVME KEXT issue

I upgraded an iMac 14,3 with an nvme drive and when OCLP installs it is aware it’s a third party drive. Due to this the machine kernel panics at boot. However, if I install OCLP in target disk mode from a Mac Mini, selceting iMac 14,3, it works fine. The question is:

Am I missing a setting in OCLP to skip 3rd party kext support or how can I edit the boot EFI via single user mode after the install to fix it not needing my my Mac mini to push OCLP installs to it?

I hope I explained it okay and I’m going to go back to watching Fallout. Cheers guys/gals.
