| I just upgraded the CPU and Motherboard of my working Hackintosh. Here are my current specs
Unfortunately I cannot seem to perform USB mapping on this hackintosh. Just to be clear, I already did this in the past, so I'm not completely clueless. In MacOS I tried to follow the "new" procedure delineated in https://github.com/corpnewt/USBMap/blob/master/README.md, however I can only see HS ports, no matter how many ports I disable with the Dummy kext. Note that with all the ports activated I don't even get to the 15 ports limits, because the SS ports are never detected, so even when deactivating everything besides mouse and keyboard I don't see anything new! This is what IOReg shows me I tried to do the mapping in Windows (I can dual boot into it and everything is working well there) with USBToolBox but the detected ports seem to be the same and whenever I plug something in nothing is updated in the window... Am I missing something really basic in the BIOS? As I just installed the new motherboard and CPU I tend to believe I made some mistake there because the rest used to work on my previous machine [link] [comments] |
