Which CPU to use?

I am about to build a 2nd Hackintosh, a legacy one. I can't decide if I want to stick on a compatible C2D E4400 Conroe rather than a C2Q Q8400 Yorkfield. I do prefer the quad core one, do i have any workaround for this?
