| | I built my system back in 2012, so 12 years ago now, and have been using it as my primary machine since then. Other than upgrading storage once I haven't changed a thing. I'm not the most demanding user, mostly photo editing, some music production and general internet and publishing tasks. Honestly this system has been great, but now I have kids and a busy life and have pretty much lost touch with the ins and outs of keeping my hackintosh up to date and I'm starting to get warnings from apps like Google Drive that my OS soon won't be supported. I'm on 10.15.7 (Catalina). I'm wondering if it's possible to update this machine to the latest MacOS, and how I might go about doing so.... Or is it time to give up and buy Apple, with the M chips and all. They're appealing but extremely pricey. Thanks for any advice you can provide.
