For those getting high temps on Sonoma (2015 MacBook Pro 15-inch)

I recently noticed my 2015 MacBook Pro was being super loud in the library (Had my IEM's in, now I know why people kept looking at me). This wasn't the case with the initial release of Sonoma but it seems thermals and power management is no longer efficient.

What really helped the most was using the Volta app, and set a manual power limit along with testing different undervolt values.

Tested around -80 mV, crashed at -90 mV.

Getting around 50 degrees Celsius under light load. Prior to underplot, Spotify streaming would get up to 80 degrees and fans would be annoyingly loud.

I also have Macs Fan Control and Turbo Boost Switcher, but without the undervolt and power limit, the thermals and fans would still be out of control.
