How do I boot into Sonoma or revert back?

Greetings! I have a bit of a problem where my MacBook Pro Mid 2012 doesn't boot into Sonoma.

It's stuck on the boot screen with the loading bar at about 1 or 2 %

I've tried resetting Nvram, reinstalling using recovery as well as usb but it never manages to go load past that tiny bit.

I managed to install Catalina which is the last supported OS on an external ssd drive and boot that and redownload Sonoma using OCLP and make another patched bootable USB only to be met with the same result.

Is there a way to downgrade safely without losing data or get this thing to boot into Sonoma?
