Maybe it's a combination of things but in Sonoma (and now Sequoia) in dual screen mode, if I maximize a window, it just disappears. I have seen this more in browser situations on the main and secondary screen. Sometimes a restart will solve it for a bit until it gets into a sleep mode and then it's quirky again. It's never super consistent either. 2011 iMac that upgraded if that's any correlation
