Hello everyone, I finally upgraded my macbook pro mid 2012 13" to a 15".
But I thought switch the SSD will work fine but I got error and not sure how to solve it.
I used OCLP Monterey 12.7.6
First on loading it stuck on the apple logo with 40% charging bar.
After checking online I managed to boot him on safe mode and work.
It seems that I need to update OCLP as the machine is different.
When I update I got error message:
"i got this s answer: Volume on disk0s1 failed to mount Perhaps the operation is not appropriate (kDAReturnNotPermitted) If you think the volume is supported but damaged, try the "readOnly" option Max@maxMBP ~ % mount
/dev/disk1s5s1 on / (apfs, sealed, local, read-only, journaled) devfs on /dev (devfs, local, nobrowse) /dev/disk1s4 on /System/Volumes/VM (apfs, local, noexec, journaled, noatime, nobrowse) /dev/disk1s2 on /System/Volumes/Preboot (apfs, local, journaled, nobrowse) /dev/disk1s6 on /System/Volumes/Update (apfs, local, journaled, nobrowse) /dev/disk1s1 on /System/Volumes/Data (apfs, local, journaled, nobrowse) map auto_home on /System/Volumes/Data/home (autofs, automounted, nobrowse) Max@max-MBP ~ %
It seems that it's SIP issue? But again if I do recovery mode I got mountain lion and SIP lion doesn't show up.
What should I do?
I remember the first I do the update from mountain lion to Monterey it took me hours and drain my energy.
Does the only way is to start erase and do all again from scratch?
Thanks
