Generally, the experience has been stable, including putting a photo library of 200Gigs. Considering my Mac has 8GB RAM, and a Samsung SSD of 500GB, I have been wary of app installations. The computer is more like a home computer for browsing and regular household needs.
Safari 18.6 does not play Audible, Amazon Prime Video, Jio Hotstar (Indian web streaming service), Spotify etc. When I go to Apple's website, I see the page loading on fancy pages like iPad Pro or MacBook Pro is almost non-existent.
I use had turned off content blockers from these sites too. My only option is to install Google Chrome? I am asking this because, Google chrome writes unknown things in the background. Appreciate if there are any inputs
