An Error Occurred Preparing the Software Update

I am trying to update my 2011 MBP from High Sierra to Sonoma but keep getting the error in the picture with this post. Any suggestions on how I can get past this? I built my bootable usb with OCLP on the MacBook and I am trying to update. I am beyond frustrated with this error.
