Hello everyone
About a week ago I had to install a current macOS with oclp 2.4.1 on my macbookpro 13.3 from 2016.
Finally there are 4!!! macOS systems have become a way to test the MacBook, especially the performance of the internal GPU and the egpu razor core x with rx580 in it.
I am currently using the latest versions of macOS systems
Monterey
Ventura
Sonoma
Sequoia
Monterey is the last OS supported by Apple for my MacBook Pro 13.3 from 2016
Only in this OS are displays connected to the egpu recognized.
In all others, I can only use the external monitor or a 55" smart TV if I connect it directly to 2 of the 4 Thunderbolt 3 ports using an adapter.
This makes it seem as if the internal AMD Radeon 450 GPU is being heavily utilized, which is something I don't want.
I edit a lot of videos in Finalcut Pro 11 and of course I want the EGPU to do the main computing work
Is there a configuration trick with which you can get macOS, no matter which of the newer ones mentioned, to make displays that are connected to a razor core x egpu also be recognized there?
