Can’t upgrade to Seqouia

I have a MacBook Pro early 2011 with 16gb ram and an ssd. I cannot get it to install sequoia. I keep getting an error saying an error occurs while preparing the software update and I’ve also gotten an error about a firmware update. I have been able to get sequoia installed when I use the HDD that came with the MacBook Pro. I have reset PRAM, SMC, used disk utilities to wipe to ssd clean and cannot get it to install. Any suggestions on what I can do to get it installed on the SSD?

** I used OCLP to create the bootable installer on a flash drive and installed and built opencore onto the EFI of the USB.
