I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this dillemma. I've got a 2014 mac book pro 15 *1398 board* in good working order. i have ventura 13.7.2 installed, which as many of you know can be a bit cpu intensive and buggy.
i would like to install my previous copy of 13.4.1 which always worked much better.
I prepared and created a dedicated USB with open core 2.4.1 and ventura via the open core creation tool in the current ventura environment, and it boots up to it correctly.
When i try to install the older osx version 13.4.1, and boot to the usb EFI partition, then click on the ventura installer, it goes to the no bootable screen.
ive read a number of work arounds which haven't worked yet, such as tapping the space bar when i choose the installer. how do i get past this roadblock?
note - im currently spoofing the 14.3 firmware successfully on this 11.3 version mac, and its dialed in the same way on the usb.
All assistance welcome here
