I'm helping my buddy with his hackintosh install, and we're running into a bunch of problems.
First things first, he's using a Kaby Lake 7600k, and we're always able to install it no problem. However, the post-installation is when we run into all the problems.
On the first install, he left it as a MBR instead of a GUID, so it didn't create the EFI partition. So we formatted it to GUID, and got the EFI Partition to show up.
The problem we ran into was that MultiBeast would not mount the EFI, no matter how many times we tried/reinstalled, it just wouldn't do it. We looked all over online and someone suggested that it was booting into safemode, so I went into the System Info but it said Boot Mode was normal. EFI Mounter v3 was able to mount the EFI Partition no problem, so we tried mounting it and then running Multibeast, but it just kept spitting out that it was unable to mount the EFI.
So at this point, we're at a loss. I'm not sure what could be going wrong with Multibeast, or if it's something wrong with our install.
Any help/suggestions are appreciated! Thanks :)
