So I was repartitioning my HDD with GParted Live for certain reasons and somehow I ended up making my C: drive "unknown" in GParted Live. Computer then booted into a repair screen. Rather than restoring and reinstalling windows from an option there I decided it was a good idea to try and reformat the drive to NTFS with an sfdisk command I found, bad idea.
Now all I have left is a recovery partition which, unless I'm doing it wrong, I can't boot into, and a 99mb EFI partition that is no longer labeled as EFI. How can I reinstall Windows from where I am now? I have a Dell Inspiron 5558. I'm gonna be screwed if I can't get this computer back up and working so please help.
EDIT: luckily, I did use a terminal command yesterday to figure out my product key and wrote it down so I have that. Also I just ran TestDisk and it seems to be able to find all the lost partitions but I don't know how to actually recover them with the tool
EDIT 2: I was running Windows 10
edit for this sub: would it be easier to install macOS from the situation I'm in now? Before all this happened I couldn't install macOS because when I tried to erase and format my extra partition to JHFS+ It would give me an error.
