I didn't think I was ready to pull the trigger, but when I was price shopping on newegg.com suddenly the i7-8700k page said "In Stock". So after 5-10seconds of deliberating I clicked Buy It Now.

Hopefully it'll come together smoothly. Feel free to share any opinions or advice. Once it's all working, I'll be building a custom enclosure/case for it.
