I have been through the no-audio device instructions the way into the thicket, extracting my vanilla AppleHDA.kext from the High Sierra installer. Still, I have no audio devices; my layout-id of <00 00 00 00> and IOService:/AppleACPIPlatformExpert/PCI0@0/AppleACPIPCI/HDEF@1F,3 even after applying toleda’s patch
Except for the fact that I am running on Intel integrated graphics (GPU is in the mail), my build is an MSI Z370 Gaming M5 mobo with an i5 8600K, 16 GB of RAM. The part list is here.

The integrated graphics don’t work (the DisplayPort is fine, but MacOS X mirrors everything over the HDMI port). Except for the fact that I have to Inject EFI from the Clover Options menu every time, otherwise it runs. I said to myself, let’s fix audio first, that should be easier. God is laughing still.
Any suggestions?
