DELL 9550 and Filevault 2 working?

Hi,

I have a Dell xps 9550 (i5) running High Sierra and was wondering if somebody got FileVault 2 working? I want to enable FileVault but red that there were some issues with the keyboard not working when one tries to enable it. Can somebody please comment on this? And if you got it working, how did you do it? Do I need some specific kexts?
