Problem with Asus XG-C100C 10G NIC

I've been following the Hackintosher guide (https://hackintosher.com/guides/high-sierra-install-full-guide/) for setting up a High Sierra hackintosh. Everything works perfectly except the machine doesn't detect my 10G network card (an Asus XG-C100C). I'm running 10.13.4, so it should be natively supported. I've confirmed that it is NOT a hardware problem (card works in a PCIe enclosure) and NOT a motherboard PCIe slot problem (tried my GPU in all three PCIe slots and it's detected successfully every time).

The other weird part is that I had to reinstall Clover/macOS on this machine because the EFI partition on my SSD got corrupted somehow. Before that happened, the network card worked without any problems. This reinstall is completely clean slate - I formatted the drive and started the process from scratch. Any thoughts on what could be going on?
