Is it possible to build a sub 500 € machine for light editing in FCPx? With"light editing" I mean 1080p footage, sone transitions , no any vfx , rendering times as close to the output video duration,or even 2/3 of that. I'm only taking about fcpx because it uses Intel's Quick Sync (so the build will have an Intel processor ). Is the latest i-5 with its integrated graphics and no other gpu a good start? And 8-12 gb of memory. I'm not interested in gaming or anything, just in running Photoshop/Final Cut pro X decently.
