SSD (APFS) have same/longer boot time than HDD (HFS)

Is there anything wrong? I thought APFS isn't bad anymore? (Reading this thread). Should I reinstall to HFS? or any patches I can use?

My machine is Thinkpad T420 i5 with 250GB SSD on the main bay and 500GB HDD on ultrabay for backup MacOS install and time machine. I use vanilla install method with TLuck's EFI found here.
