Currently running Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD3H, i7 4790K and a GTX960. 10.13.3 via Clover. Running a slightly older version of the NVIDIA graphics to due NVIDIA sucking lately.
Occasionally my system will beachball for about ~5 seconds before I'll get a graphics error which I'm assuming is crashing Finder or some higher level system function because the machine doesn't quite reboot, it's more like a springboard crash in iOS.
I'm thinking if I move to a newer graphics card (probably AMD) it'll solve this issue entirely and was looking for recommendations? Is there any AMD cards I can just plug-in play (after removing NVIDIA related drivers, kexts, clover settings)?
